Lo Frate 'nnamorato
De mille Theatre, UNCSA
Scenic Designer- Mrinali Thanwani
Lo Frate ‘nnamorato is an opera that is very dear to my heart, and it was designed with a lot of passion and love. The story takes place in a small, picturesque town called Capidomonte, renowned for its porcelain production. The opera is a delightful and humorous piece, and I wanted to create a warm and colorful atmosphere that would reflect this. My aim was to transport the audience to a whimsical Italian town on a warm spring day, where they would feel completely immersed in the opera experience. To achieve this, I designed a small porcelain world of my own that would envelop the audience in the ambiance of the story.
